How Are You Feeling Today?
Gyeonggi Museum
2023
The Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art’s 《How Are You Feeling Today?》offers a moment in which we may tend to the inner wounds we carry while living through the normalization of disaster, opening a space of communication where consolation is extended in different and deeply personal ways.
Placed along the museum’s entrance path and outdoor garden, where visitors first encounter the space, the artist’s 〈Ottogi〉 and 〈Homo Sapiens〉 series seek to foster moments of exchange. In particular, 〈Homo Sapiens〉 in styrofoam invites not only visual attention but also tactile engagement, allowing the work to enter more naturally into everyday life and offer a warm message of comfort and hope.
